What the workshop collects — and what it doesn't.
GOBLINTEK is a solo indie game studio run by one person in Canada. This page explains what personal information may be collected through this website, why, and how it's handled. No legalese traps. No boilerplate walls. Just a straight answer.
Short version: If you sign up for the dispatch list, we collect your email address to send you updates. That's pretty much it. We don't sell your data, and we won't spam you.

This site does not use tracking pixels, behavioural advertising, or third-party analytics scripts that follow you around the web. We don't run ads.
You won't receive anything you didn't sign up for. Signing up for the dispatch list means you've given explicit consent to receive those updates — consistent with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Your email is used only to send you GOBLINTEK updates. It won't be sold, rented, traded, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Ever.
To actually send emails, we use a third-party email service provider (such as Buttondown, Mailchimp, or similar). That means your email address lives on their servers, subject to their own privacy policies. We'll keep this section updated if the service changes.

Every email sent through the dispatch list includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you're off the list immediately — no hoops, no "are you sure?" guilt trip.
You can also send an unsubscribe request directly to hello@goblintek.dev and it'll be handled promptly.
If you're in Canada, you have rights under PIPEDA and CASL including the right to access the personal information held about you and to request its correction or deletion. Since the only data collected is your email address, this is straightforward: just send a message and it'll be sorted out.
If you're elsewhere in the world (EU, UK, etc.), similar principles apply — this site tries to handle data responsibly regardless of jurisdiction.
