Scrappy games, forged in grease & gears
GOBLINTEK is a two-goblin indie studio. Part workshop, part mad science lab. We build games by hand: every gear turned, every pixel placed, every bug squashed with a wrench.
No big budgets. No fancy offices. Just two goblins, a pair of keyboards, and an ever-growing pile of weird ideas waiting to be turned into playable things. We believe the best games feel handmade. A little rough around the edges, but full of heart and soul.
The workshop is open. The boiler is running. Something's always cooking.
Automation / Logistics / Puzzle
The Gob King wants his bomb, a BIG one, and the factory that builds it is lost in the Fog. Push out, reclaim the scattered Buildings, and wire it all back together one Trundler at a time until the BIG BOOM is built and delivered.

You ARE the bad guys. Build your dungeon, recruit monsters, and defend against waves of pesky "heroes" who keep trying to steal your stuff. Reverse dungeon crawler meets tower defense.
Coming Soon™ Peek at the Vaults →Notes from the workbench. Progress updates, tinkering reports, and the occasional existential crisis.
The Gobs & Gears score is six phase-locked layers by Megahammer Studios that shift as your factory grows. How adaptive music actually works, and why the reverb tail is the clever part.
INTENSITY: ████████░░ CLIMBING
Read full dispatch →The Gobs & Gears demo is out on Steam, free, right now. You start with one plot and a lot of fog and dig a dead factory back out of it, all the way through the end of crafting Tier 2. Here's what you get, and the three things I'd like you to do about it.
DEMO: ██████████ SHIPPED
Read full dispatch →Gobs & Gears started life as Loot Route, a single-screen incremental. The folder on my hard drive is still called that, and it's the only part of the plan that survived. Twenty-seven building types, a procedurally generated world, a king with twelve moods and a voice made of consonants later, here's what happened, and why letting a game become what it wants beats chasing a genre.
ORIGINAL SCOPE: ██████████ LONG GONE
Read full dispatch →Dispatch Day is Monday, when new posts roll out of the workshop. Sign up and you'll get word on the ones worth your inbox, devlog posts, game updates, release news. No noise, no newsletters that read like corporate memos. Just dispatches from the forge.
Wanna talk games, collabs, or just yell something encouraging into the workshop? The goblin is always tinkering, but we check our messages.
